This initiative aims to revolutionize healthcare by bridging clinical imaging and multimodal data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Scope<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The overarching goal of the PRIMED-AI program is to develop innovative, reliable, cost-effective, and sustainable multimodal AI-based clinical decision support (CDS) tools. By integrating clinical imaging with diverse multimodal health data, these tools will enhance patient care across a wide range of health conditions and catalyze the clinical adoption of AI technologies (Topol, E. J. &#8220;High-performance medicine: the convergence of human and artificial intelligence.&#8221;&nbsp;<em>Nature Medicine<\/em>&nbsp;25.1 (2019): 44-56).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This cooperative agreement (RFA-RM-27-012) is broadly accessible to diverse organizations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Government entities (state, county, city, tribal).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Higher education institutions (public and private).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nonprofits (with or without 501(c)(3) status).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Businesses (small and large for-profit organizations).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Foreign organizations and international collaborations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Partnership<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This funding specifically encourages academic-industrial partnerships to translate data into impactful clinical models.
