Eligibility
Investigators applying through appropriate NIH Parent Funding Announcements or broad NIH opportunities on Grants.gov are eligible. To be successful, projects must include:
- Rigorous risk assessments and comprehensive AI governance.
- Strict data security and privacy protection measures.
- Techniques to minimize potential imbalances or biases in data sources.
- Clear justification of the impact of validating specific tools within the studied population.
Partnership
This is a collaborative interest across multiple NIH Institutes, Centers, and Offices (ICOs), including NCI, NHLBI, NIA, NIDA, NIMH, NLM, and more.
